At Lead For America, we take pride in being supported by the communities we serve and ensuring that the vast majority of our budget each year goes directly to supporting our programs, not overhead.
In the first two years of Lead For America, over 90% of our funding came from Fellowship communities. Today, we are proud to have maintained local support while also receiving additional philanthropic support from foundations and individuals and federal funding through AmeriCorps.
Due to the generous support of our institutional donors, every dollar you donate to Lead For America goes directly to supporting our Fellows and their work in building thriving American communities. Your donation makes community leadership and service possible.
